Donnas Diaries 3/22/21

My friend P3 (Patricia/who is currently studying for her Techinician License) told me I had to apologize to y'all.  When I asked why, she replied.....you told everyone you didn't look good in green....then she made me take this picture.....  This is the only green piece of clothing that I own.  And furthermore, I wouldn't have it if it wasn't for P3 going to the store and buying it.  She said if I didn't put it on and wear it all day, she would pinch me!  And to be honest, I think she really would have.

Proof I wore green on St. Patrick's Day.....

As I said, P3 is studying for her Techinician License and doing really well on her practice tests......today she posted a picture of her bicycle that her husband had gotten for her birthday a few years back.   She was talking about what a great time it was and it was definitely strengthening up her legs and knees.  Then I came across this picture today......too funny not to share.......

I have no words.....HI.....HI.....

Before all this COVID stuff hit, I had the pleasure of visiting friends out in San Diego, CA.  On this trip they took me to Yuma, AR to visit the Yuma Territorial Prison.  Now to be  completely transparent, I thought how much fun can it be seeing a prison .....well let me tell you, if you ever have the opportunity to visit the Yuma Territorial Prison....do it!  There is so much history there and to see the actual cells the inmates had to live in.  There was even a small area (and I mean small) for female prisoners.....

The Entrance...there is a matching set of gates on the other end of the dog trot, you can see them right behind me.  They would open the first set of gates, pull the horse drawn coach (holding the prisoners) in to the dog trot.  Close gate number #1 and then open gate #2.  This helped prevent jailbreaks.....

Cells on both sides of walkway

When you look through these pictures, keep in mind....no heat, no a/c and nothing to stop the blowing rain or cold from going straight in to the cells...

Each cell held six men.....

The Hospital.....

How old were you before you knew what Hospital stood for?
